Our team of First Contact Practitioners delivers weekly First Contact Physio interventions, working with most Primary Care Networks (PCNs) across the UK. We provide specialist musculoskeletal services to NHS patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality care.
Our FCPs assist patients with musculoskeletal issues, such as back, neck, and joint pain, by:
All our FCPs are HEE trained. They identify 'red flag' symptoms that may require urgent medical attention. They work closely with GP practices to ensure patients see the most suitable clinician as quickly as possible, aiming to reduce pain and improve functionality with shortest intervention possible. They play key role in supporting patients to gain faster access to diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment, empowering them to manage their conditions effectively and recover sooner. This helps patients return to normal life more quickly, while also enabling GPs to manage their medical urgent workload efficiently and thereby reducing the need for onward referrals mostly to secondary care.

Access to the system is available to authorised health and social care professionals, care workers and administrators within the NHS and public health sectors. The database provides real-time insights into the status of service users. We provide internal access as well as read-only access to the patient record. With explicit patient consent, all pertinent data, including self-referrals, is securely stored in the system.
