register for Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India, you typically need to

- PAN Card: Permanent Account Number
(PAN) card of the business entity or individual.
- Proof of Business
Registration or Incorporation Certificate:
- Sole Proprietorship:
Certificate of registration or any other proof of business registration.
- Partnership Firm:
Partnership deed.
- Limited Liability
Partnership (LLP): LLP agreement and certificate of incorporation.
- Private Limited Company:
Certificate of incorporation and Memorandum of Association (MOA) and
Articles of Association (AOA).
- Identity and Address Proof
of Promoters/Partners/Directors:
- For individuals: Aadhar
card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License.
