Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per year

Time Period: 37.5hours / week ( if Full time)

JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY

    • To work as an autonomous and MDT Team member as Physiotherapist practitioner in accordance with the standards and codes of practice of the NMC and local guidelines.
    • To work jointly with other team members to promote a culture of constant quality and performance improvement across the service.
    • To support the development of all staff individually ensuring that all policy and practice are aligned and that business/ service processes are kept under constant review.
    • To provide and manage systems for the accurate and timely measurement of performance against contract standards.
    • To be responsible for a defined caseload allocated, using evidence-based practice and client cantered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions that aim to achieve these outcomes for the client.
    • To develop knowledge and skills that meets the competency framework through a range of study.
    • To establish and maintain good communications with key client staff at each service.
    • To undertake all necessary verbal and written documentation required for patient care.
    • To formulate goals/clinical objectives with patients / carers / relatives and other health professionals and continually re-assess patients to evaluate progress and alter treatment programmes accordingly.
    • To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of their work including the management of patients in their care and to seek advice from senior staff as appropriate.
